The café is divided into two sections – a cafe area selling coffee and ready-made meals, and the cat enclosure where guests can play with the cats.
Co-owners Jackie Moureu and Neil MacIntosh told myGC they decided to open a cat café along the glitter strip after visiting one in Edinburgh.
“We thought it was a great idea and something that the Gold Coast was missing,” Jackie said. “We have spent the last four months raising the cats together so that they will love each other, play together and interact nicely.”
The Crazy Cat Cafe will open this Saturday. For more information, visit: facebook.com/catcafegoldcoast
