VIDEO: New Zealand airport staff perform homecoming haka for All Blacks
Now this is what you call a welcome!
Nothing say’s you’re in New Zealand quite like the Haka, so the Air New Zealand ground crew braved the rain and performed the haka on the tarmac as a congratulatory welcome home to New Zealand’s Rugby World Cup champions.
As the All Blacks touched down in Auckland about 7.00am Wednesday, they were greeted by a clad of men dressed in their hi-viz shirts performing the Haka.
The welcome home was captured on camera and has since gone viral.
The All Blacks defeated Australia 34-17 in Saturday’s Rugby World Cup final at Twickenham.
