A man in Toowoomba was sprung by Queensland Police for using a rolled up mattress as the front seat in a car on Monday.
He admitted he was recently disqualified from driving when police intercepted the vehicle on Brisbane Street in Drayton.
Once pulled over, police examined the car and the officer noticed the driver and his passenger were sitting on a rolled up foam mattress, to replace the front seats of the car.

The car was impounded and the 30-year-old was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a licence.

He’s due to face appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on October 16.
