Another resident from a western Sydney nursing home has died from coronavirus.
The person is the 16th victim of the COVID-19 outbreak at the Newmarch House facility.
The death toll in New South Wales has now risen to 46 while the national toll is at 97.

“We extend our sincere condolences to the family for whom this is both distressing and tragic,” operator Anglicare said in a statement.
“The incredibly contagious nature of the virus is evidenced by the fact that in the past 24 hours, three staff members of Newmarch House have tested positive.”
More than 60 staff and residents at Newmarch House have contracted the virus.
The Opposition is now calling for a Royal Commission into the outbreak at Newmarch.
“The residents of Newmarch House and their loved ones, and the staff at the facility, deserve answers about what has gone wrong,” Shadow Minister for Ageing Julie Collins said on Tuesday.
“The Royal Commission has the necessary investigative powers to get to the bottom of what has happened, with concerning reports of infection control failures at Newmarch House.
