VISION: Police trying to track down five people over violent Surfers Paradise robbery

Police are calling on help from the public to track down five people involved in a violent robbery in Surfers Paradise late last year.

A 44-year-old was understood to have been with four men and a woman in a unit along Wahroonga Place at 6.00 pm back on December 20, 2020.

Police allege he was then punched unconscious and when he woke, his iPhone 11, iPhone 10, iPad Air 2, USB speaker, wallet containing bank cards and some clothing items had been taken.

The man’s bank-cards were subsequently used to make an illegal transfer of $2700 and fraudulently open various betting accounts.

Police have released footage of the five people they wish to speak to, who were caught on camera in Surfers Paradise.
