A 53-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder following the discovery of an elderly man’s body in bushland south of Perth.
Richard Andrews, 70, was reported missing after he was last seen his suburb of Calista in mid-August.
The pensioner’s remains were found in bushland at North Dandalup, about 100 metres from the road, on Tuesday afternoon.

Following the discovery, Major Crime Squad detectives arrested and charged a 53-year-old man in relation to Mr Andrews’ disappearance.
The 53-year-old has since been charged with murder and interfering with a corpse.
