A Western Australian police station has posted an adorable photo of their ‘latest recruit’ sending social media into cuteness overload.
The image of the chocolate coloured Kelpie puppy sitting on a police vest was posted to Waroona Police’s Twitter page today.
“Meet Alpha, our latest recruit. Rescued from #SAFEBunbury,” the caption read.

It’s reported the adorable pup was rescued from an animal shelter by one of the officers.
He will not be trained as a police dog – “You could say he’s been taken into the family but he’s not going to be working with us,” one of the sergeants said.
