WA shark attack victim dies in hospital
A shark attack victim has died in a Western Australia hospital.
Ben Gerring, 29, was bitten on the leg at a beach 80kms south of Perth on Tuesday.
The fly-in-fly-out mine worker was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital but lost his fight for life overnight.
He lost his leg above the knee and was in a critical condition for the past four days, until it was confirmed early Saturday morning that he had passed away.

Mr Gerring had reportedly just found out his fiancée, Jasmine Boyer, was pregnant.
