A Logan man, listed as one of Australia’s most wanted fugitives, has been tracked down and locked up.

The 29-year-old was one of 19 people placed on the wanted list in August 2016 when Crime Stoppers Australia launched Operation ROAM: Fugitive Hunt.

Extensive inquiries into Schackow’s whereabouts led Police to a NSW address on Saturday night.

Officers stormed the Nightingale Street home in Glossodia, near Windsor in the Hawkesbury region, about 10pm.

They found their man hiding under a child’s bed.

He was arrested and appeared before Parramatta Bail court on Sunday when he was refused bail to re-appear before Blacktown Local Court later today.
