Wanted Gold Coast man busted during routine traffic stop

MUDGEERABA police have nabbed a wanted man during a routine traffic stop.

Initially they were targeting speeding, disobeying stop signs and drivers using mobile phones.

One particular motorist however caught their attention after behaving suspiciously and providing them with a false drivers licence.

A 29-year-old Mudgeeraba man was arrested and charged with various fraud and drug related offences with further charges likely.
