A man wanted by the Australian Federal Police since 2013 has been arrested and charged after being extradited from Indonesia.
The 35-year-old Afghan man has been wanted for years over his alleged involvement in smuggling people into Australia.
Authorities say he was allegedly involved in organising and facilitating the suspected illegal entry of vessels from Indonesia into Australia on four occasions between 2009 and 2010.

The man arrived in Perth yesterday afternoon where he was formally charged by the AFP with 10 people smuggling offences.
He is expected to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.
