Wanted man found hiding under mattress after making bomb-threats
A man accused of threatening people with improvised explosive devices has been found hiding under a mattress at a home in central western New South Wales.
Police had been searching for the 25-year-old for the past two weeks in relation to a number offences including assault and several break and enters.
On Saturday, investigators were told that the man attended a family function at Condoblin where he allegedly threatened to harm people with improvised explosive devices.
He was arrested at the property after officers found him hiding under a mattress.
The man was charged with several offences to appear at Forbes Local Court today.
Police stressed that the incident was not terrorism related.
