WANTED: Police on the hunt for man on the run in NSW

Police have released an image of a man, believed to be on the run, following a terrifying home invasion in Sydney last month.

Detectives said that around 8.45pm on Monday 31 October, a man broke into a home at Lurnea and confronted a 78-year-old woman.

He then produced a knife and threatened the woman before stealing her purse containing the keys to her white Ford Fiesta.
