COOLER, cloudier conditions have brought an end to the Gold Coast’s warm winter weather, with the mercury set to dip into the single digits tonight.
Following a spectacular day on the Coast yesterday where temperatures soared to a pleasant 26 degrees, the tourist strip is only forecast to reach a top of 21 today followed by a chilly overnight low of just 8C.
It’s quite the contrast when compared to last night’s comfortable overnight low of 15C.

The winter chill will stick around for at least the next week, with top temperatures tipped to remain between 20-21C and overnight lows between 8-11C.
