CONOR Warren has ended his junior athletics career on a high with the 17-year-old winning another gold and breaking his own boys U18s javelin record at the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships in Melbourne.
Warren already has an impressive resume, including being a finalist at the World Youth Championships in Cali earlier this year.
The Queenslander opened his campaign with a 67.88m throw before producing a 77.80m record-breaking performance in the second round.

Warren sat out the final two rounds and left West Australian Jack Stanton and fellow Queenslander Brandon Stanaway to fight it out for second and third.
The 17-year-old now has his sights set on qualifying for his second World Youth Championships next year, as well as attending the Athletics Australia U19 Talent Squad Camp in January.
