WATCH: 35,000 ecstasy pills, $100,000 cash found in raid on Gold Coast home

BODYCAM footage has been released showing the moment police found more than 35,000 ecstasy pills and more than $100,000 in cold hard cash at a house on the Gold Coast (see it below).

Officers uncovered the drugs and around $160,000 in cash during a raid on the Gaven home on Wednesday.

The drugs were reportedly stashed in several bags which were found packed in plastic buckets in a shipping container at the back of the home.


It’s understood officers located 35,600 pills weighing more than 10kg at the address. It’s understood the drugs have an estimated street value of around $1 million.

An industrial pill press and a crossbow were also seized during the raid on the Violet Way property.

Adam Lee Bartolo, 34, was arrested at the house and later charged with multiple drugs and weapons offences, including trafficking, producing and possessing dangerous drugs.

He will front Southport court on August 17.
