After spending most of her young life in the foster care system, it was only fitting that this 5-year-old girl got an adoption court hearing fit for a princess.
Danielle Koning, from Michigan had been living with her adoptive family since 2014, however was only just able to be legally adopted.
At the adoption court hearing, Danielle’s foster care worker had organised for the whole courtroom to be dressed as Disney Princesses, to make the day extra special.

The adorable ceremony was caught on camera and uploaded to the Samaritas Foster Care Program Facebook page with the caption: “Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind,” an iconic quote from Disney’s Lilo and Stitch.
