The stars of the thriller, Rachael Blake and Vince Colosimo, were in attendance at the star-studded event, and told myGC locals can catch another screening of the movie on Sunday at BCC Coolangatta.

Chatting to myGC about the film, Vince Colosimo said it is a must-see.

“I like to call it a masterpiece. If you want to see a masterpiece, you need to see The Second,” he said.

Rachael Blake agreed, telling myGC the story will draw audiences in.

“It’s a great story…. a really good yarn. It’s about a publisher and a writer who is writing her second book when an old friend turns up…. and throws a spanner in the works,” she said.

“Where we shot at Dalby, at Jimbour house looks amazing [on screen] too – we were blessed to work there.”
