WATCH: Big Wedgie slides back into town these school holidays

The tallest inflatable waterslide in the world has returned to the Gold Coast these school holidays to entertain thrillseekers and leave them with a Big Wedgie.

The giant 18.2 metre tall Big Wedgie slide has moved to a new location this time round, setting up at the Southern Lawn at Broadwater Parklands until April 17.

Ride creator Peter Rimington told myGC The Big Wedgie is not only the tallest, but is also the most extreme standalone inflatable water slide in the world. “It has a 55 degree drop which means it’s a gravity drop,” he said. “The Gold Coast is the number 1 place in Australia for fun, and what more fun could you have than sliding down this and ending up with a great big wedgie.”
