It’s been two months since Bindi Irwin and her childhood sweetheart Chandler Powell tied the knot at Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast and we have just been given a detailed look into their special day.
Taking to social media a short time ago, Bindi shared an emotional 6-minute clip of her wedding day which was filmed by Animal Planet.

She simply captioned the video “Our Wedding day. Love always wins.”
In the footage, we’re given a glimpse into the special moment shared between the 21-year-old and her mother Terri whilst they’re getting ready for the big day, before we witness the magical moment Bindi is walked down the aisle by her brother Robert.
The bride and groom, who can’t take their eyes off each other, then share their sweet vows.
“I promise to love you unconditionally. I am the luckiest man in the world to marry you. Living our best life filled with wildlife, love and lots or khaki,” Powell says before Bindi is reduced to tears while expressing her love.
“I, Bindi Irwin, take you to be my wedded husband,” she says.
“I promise to love you with all of my heart through every twist and turn the world brings our way. I promise to be your strength and your light when you need it.”
The pair, who were forced to bring their wedding day forward to just hours before the Federal Government’s strict new coronavirus wedding restrictions kicked in, touched on the fact they couldn’t share their special day with all of their family.
“Not everybody could be here because of the current global crisis… a lot of our family couldn’t make it on the day, but thankfully they gave us their blessing to continue on with our wedding,” Bindi says.
The 21-year-old also paid tribute to her late father, crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, who she says “walks beside her in everything”.
“Then there’s also the people who couldn’t be here because they’re watching over us now and they’re our guiding lights, and this candle is to represent Dad who I wish could have been here in person,” she says before breaking down into tears.
You can watch Bindi’s full wedding day video below, but you must be warned… If you’re a big romantic like me who cries over strangers wedding videos, you will be reduced to a blabbering mess!
