More than 355 artists will be showcased at this year’s Bleach* Festival, which will be held from 12-22 August.
The arts and cultural festival unveiled it’s highly anticipated 2021 program at Burleigh Brewing Co. on Thursday night.
Placemakers* CEO & Artistic Director for Bleach* Rosie Dennis told myGC the program is based around the theme Listen To Your Heart.

“I’m really excited about this year’s program,” she said.
“We’ve got big names Sarah Blasko in the Botanic Gardens, jazz trio The Necks… we’ve got Briggs headlining a massive free concert down in Burleigh, we’ve got Feast, and events happening right across the city, from Currumbin right through to Southport.”

Bleach* Festival will be staged across four main hubs at Burleigh Heads, Botanic Gardens, Southport and Mudgeeraba, with events also set to take place at HOTA, Currumbin and Surfers Paradise.
“If people go to our website, every event is tagged as either free or ticketed. For the free events, just turn up, there is no need to register this year at the moment. For the ticketed events, absolutely dive in and book a ticket and come and see some shows,” Ms Dennis told myGC.
