WATCH: Boozy bloke arrested after gatecrashing live police interview

A boozed-up bloke has been arrested in his trackies after he gatecrashed a police interview on live TV.

The bizarre incident, which occurred on Monday outside a police station at Albury in southern NSW, left journalists and viewers gobsmacked.

In the footage captured by Prime7 News, the man, who can be seen clutching a beer in one hand, approaches a senior officer from behind and starts hurling abuse as he addresses the media.

The cameras keep rolling as the officer is forced to abandon the live cross and deal with the unruly gentleman.

The officer forces the man to empty his drink before dragging him into the local police station by the scruff of his shirt.
