She is a standup festival favourite, but starting this Sunday we will be able to enjoy the very best of Cal Wilson every week from the sofa.
The red-headed larrikin is just one of the comedians set to star in the all new The Comedy Channel show ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway? Australia’, which premieres this Sunday at 6:30pm QLD time.
In an exclusive chat with myGC, Cal said viewers should expect the unexpected when the quick-witted cast tackle the various improv challenges thrown at them each week. “Our version of the show is definitely more adult than the American and British version, there is definitely more swearing. We’ve really ramped it up a little,” she told myGC.

As for why Aussies should tune in to watch the show, Cal said there will be plenty of laughs. “It’s a show that has a long history but it feels really fresh and new and really Aussie. We have an amazing live band – and we do an Aussie rock anthem at the end of every show and we feel like AC/DC when we’re singing it.”
