WATCH: Cat numbers reach critical levels at Animal Welfare League Qld

Animal Welfare League Qld (AWLQ) is calling on Gold Coasters to adopt a feline friend this weekend, as the charity looks to rehome over 100 abandoned and surrendered cats and kittens.

AWLQ rehoming manager Melinda Phipps told myGC the situation is urgent.

“We have all sorts of cats and kittens… and they need homes now. We also have over 50 cats that are in vet care that need foster carers.” she said.
