The polar bears at Sea World are blissfully unaware there are less people watching them each day in their enclosures.
“It’s pretty much business as usual for the bears – they are doing great,” Wayne Phillips, Sea World’s Head of Marine Science told myGC.
“We haven’t seen any real change in behaviour. We have our keepers with them each day, so nothing has changed there.”

One thing that has changed though is how the theme park will celebrate their youngest polar bear’s upcoming birthday.
“On April 26, Mishka will turn 3. It wont be as big as what we had planned, but it is still her birthday, so we will celebrate that.”
