WATCH: Emotional ‘I Am Paul Walker’ documentary trailer will have you reaching for the tissues

“He lived five lifetimes”

The first official trailer for the Paul Walker documentary has been released and it’s already reducing fans around the world to tears.

It’s been almost five years since the much-loved actor was killed in a car accident in Santa Clarita, California in 2013.

Now, the 40-year-old’s friends, family and co-workers are opening up in an emotional documentary about his life.

“I can actually say he did a lot of things that made a lot of difference in a lot of people’s lives, you know?” Walker’s uncle Rhett Walker says in the trailer.  “He was a giver.”

Walker’s friend and Fast and Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson also features in the clip.

“If you loved him the way we did, you would say, ‘Well why him and not us?'” he says in the trailer.

I Am Paul Walker will premiere on Paramount Network in the US on August 11.
