There is nothing better than a glorious spring day spent by the track, especially one that overlooks the gorgeous Gold Coast skyline.
Aquis Park, home of the Gold Coast Turf Club and Event Centre, has unveiled details about what race-goers can expect at this year’s Spring Carnival, and it’s a smorgasbord of fashion, food, fillies and of course fun.
The Carnival officially kicks off this Saturday with the Pink Ribbon Cup Race Day, which CEO Steve Lines said is going to be a party not to be missed.

“We are doing some really innovative things with the Spring Carnival this year,” he told myGC. “We are changing things up a bit, and bringing a bit more colour and excitement. We want the public to experience things they haven’t experience before when they come to the races.”

One of the new additions to be unveiled this Saturday is the Spritzer Soiree which will be held in The Dome. The lively cocktail garden party will feature fun food, live entertainment and give race-goers prime viewing of all the thrilling action on-track.
This Saturday, punters will also be able to pay a visit to the Glitter-Arti Concierge to undergo a twinkling glitter makeover of their brows and beards.
The enhanced program also guarantees to deliver an innovative entertainment offering including the Caulfield Cup Race Day, featuring a brand-new Canary Bar, Hot Tomato Derby Day with the Moet Ice Beach Party, Melbourne Cup Race Day and also the Vili’s Pies Race Day – Metropolitan Meeting.
As always, race-goers will be able to show off their edgy, fresh, and on trend fashion choices at Fashions on the Field events across the Carnival program, including at the Pink Ribbon Cup, Caulfield Cup, Hot Tomato Derby Day and Melbourne Cup.
