Incredible sculptures are starting to take shape along Currumbin Beach ahead of the Swell Sculpture Festival, which kicks off this Friday.
The popular outdoor sculpture exhibition, which runs from September 8 to 17, will feature 50 artworks by talented Australian and international artists this year.

Some of the eclectic works on show include a pair of giant hands at Elephant Rock, a metallic statue of surfing legend Captain Goodvibes overlooking the alley, and giant red love heart that perfectly frames the iconic Gold Coast coastline.

In addition to checking out the sculptures, Swell Creative Director Ruth Della told myGC there are loads of activities on offer for the whole family.
