A lifestyle festival on at Broadwater Parklands this Sunday is set to showcase all that is Active & Healthy on the Gold Coast.
Zest 2017 will be a fun-filled day for the whole family, with City of Gold Coast’s Senior Active Parks Officer Sam Hughes telling myGC there will be loads of free activities on offer for all ages.
“Being active and healthy is hugely important, so at Zest 2017 Gold Coasters can learn how to become healthier and discover activities that may suit them,” she said.

“It is going to be a great day out for the whole family. There will be over 10 Commonwealth Games sports for locals to check out, heaps of kids activities, as well as a mini Ninja Warrior course where both kids and adults can test their skills.”
Ms Hughes told myGC Zest 2017 has teamed with the Food Truck Picnic this year, with 10 amazing foods trucks set to offer fresh, local and healthy food on the day.

Gold Coasters will also be able to pick up the latest copy of the City of Gold Coast Active & Healthy Lifestyle Guide at the festival.
Ms Hughes told myGC the program is huge this year. “We have over 200 activities weekly across the city,” she said. “There is cooking and wellbeing workshops, all the regular favourites, as well as some of the Commonwealth Games sports.”Zest2017_EventProgram_A4_WEB
