A DRIVER has been left shaken after being rear-ended at high speed on the Pacific Motorway near the NSW-Queensland border.
They were behind the wheel of a Toyota Corolla heading north towards the Tugun Bypass Tunnel on Tuesday morning, when another small car smashed into them from behind.
A traffic camera recorded the incident, which occurred on the NSW side of the border.

Vision shows the speeding hatchback hit the Corolla before switching from the left to the right lane and continue driving through the tunnel on the western side of the Gold Coast Airport.
The Corolla was sent careering into the concrete wall of the tunnel, incredibly not causing injury to the driver. However, the accident did prompt minor traffic delays.
Police are now hunting for the driver of the other vehicle, which is described as a white hatchback with signage on both sides.
It’s believed the car would have sustained damage to the front passenger side.
