It’s not often teachers from different schools combine, but that’s exactly what happened for a special project on the Gold Coast this week.

The project was put together by Saint Stephens College teacher Mrs Caroline Taylor as a unique way of wishing students and teachers a safe return to classes.

After weeks of learning from home due to the state’s strict coronavirus stay-at-home rules, those in kindy, prep, grade 1 and years 11 and 12 finally returned to classrooms full time on Monday, to resume face-to-face lessons with their teachers.
Remaining grades are set to go back on May 25, however this is still yet to be confirmed.
The footage, which was posted on social media on Thursday afternoon, features teachers from Saint Stephens College, Emmanuel College, Trinity Lutheran College, Kings Christian College, All Saints Anglican School, Somerset College and Coomera Anglican College.
Since being shared, the video has already received a heap of praise.
“Wow, that was beautiful. Well done everyone,” one person wrote.
“Amazing voices! Praying for health and safety for everyone,” commented another.
