WATCH: Gold Coasters can access free dog education and training this month

Calling all Gold Coast paw-rents!

City of Gold Coast is hosting a series of free Pet Education and Training Sessions from 19 May to 6 June to help local dog owners learn how to build confidence, increase socialisation, reduce problem behaviour and keep their dogs safe.

Specialist dog trainer Craig Murray told myGC the sessions will cover an array of topics.

“There’s three information sessions and the first one is on body language, the second one is on barking, and the third one is behaviour,” he said.

“To help with your situation with your dog, if you come along to the information sessions, we will be covering all the things you need to know.”

The 2 hour information sessions run from 19 May to 6 June at Helensvale, Nerang and Robina.

It will definitely help all the responsible dog owners who want to do the right thing. Unfortunately all the bogan dog owners who already think dog rules don’t relate to them, won’t bother to attend.
