The sounds of country music will be heard right across Broadbeach this weekend, with the Groundwater Country Music Festival making a return.
This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, over 40 artists will perform live across five stages throughout the precinct, with locals able to enjoy it all for FREE.
Major Events Gold Coast Director of Events and Festivals Mark Duckworth said they are so excited to bring the festival back to the city.

“We are just so happy to have country back on the Gold Coast,” he told myGC.
“It’s been 18 months in the making. With Adam Brand, Troy Cassar-Daley, Sara Storer, Casey Barnes, The Wolfe Brothers – it’s just going to be packed for the whole three days.”
The festival will also showcase a number of local country performers, including Brooke Supple.
“There’s a lot of people out there that aren’t really aware of what we have locally talent wise, so I think [Groundwater] is a beautiful platform, and it’s just a great opportunity to have something local and for everyone to come and enjoy local talent,” she told myGC.
While there will be plenty of country music to listen to, Mr Duckworth said festival goers will also be able to enjoy some fun new additions.
“If you are walking around, you will see a couple of new things, including a cornhole activation as well as an inflatable bucking bull,” he said.
