IMOGEN, a young koala raised by humans is melting hearts across the globe, after a camerman captured the moment she became homesick while being released into her new sanctuary for the first time.
Imogen was raised domestically by Kylie Elliot and Matt Radnidge from the Symbio Wildlife Park in Helensburgh, south of Sydney.
Nine News reports the couple took the koala home to raise her after her mother passed away from Leukaemia.

A little unsettled, Imogen ran straight towards the cameraman, climbing up onto his shoulder and hugging him tightly.
“Hey, it’s okay,” the cameraman can be heard saying to the homesick koala.
