Adele has captured the hearts of millions of people around the world with a heartfelt and extremely honest apology on social media after being forced to call off a concert in Arizona.
In the one-minute clip, an evidently exhausted Adele revealed that she had been struck down with a cold and despite trying to fight it, it’s left her with no choice but to postpone the Phoenix concert.
“I’m really, really sorry. I’ve had a cold for a couple of days. And I’ve been pushing through it. And I did my show last night and I loved it, but I pushed too hard, and my cold has gotten the better of me.

“I’ve pushed through a lot of things. But I’ve been trying to sing all morning, and warming up, and nothing’s really happening. I’m so sorry to let you down… It’s the last thing I want to do, but I have to look after myself because I’ve got so many more shows to do.”
“I promise i’ll reschedule the show and ill come back and i’ll smash it for you,” the British singer concluded.
The video has been viewed more than 11 million times since being posted yesterday, with an abundance of comments praising the singer for taking the time to say sorry, instead of letting her PR team do it for her.
“What a goddess. You did more in this 1 minute video than most artists would ever do when cancelling a show. Get better soon Adele!” one fan wrote.
“How wonderful of you to take the time to record a message for your fans, wrote another.
“Everyone can clearly see and hear how genuinely unwell you are and that you seem devastated to have to cancel. Wishing you a speedy recovery and no doubt that rescheduled date will probably get a little extra flava! Take care”
