INCREDIBLE FOOTAGE has been released by Queensland Police, showing a high-speed collision and several near-misses at intersections, where drivers have gone through red lights.
Police say “drivers are putting lives at risk” by ignoring traffic signals.
We’re not talking about moments where the light is changing from amber to red, in some instances the light appears to have been red for a number of seconds.

The vision shows vehicles narrowly missing other vehicles, as well as pedestrians, as they proceed through intersections.
In some instances, the vehicles pull up just in time.
One night time incident shows a sedan slam into the back of another vehicle, forcing both cars to spin out of control.
Police say “fortunately, no one was seriously injured during these incidents”.
