Innovate Interiors at Arundel has come up with a creative solution to keep the business going and help kids (and adults!) pass the time during lockdown.
With their art and wallpaper orders slowing down due to the global pandemic, the team decided to pivot their business into the world of colouring-in, designing a range tabletop-sized colouring sheets.
Business Support Manager Corinne Brown told myGC they wanted give back to the Gold Coast community by developing a product that would bring a bit of relief to parents.

“Quite a lot of the girls that work here are stuck at home now with their children, and were going slightly insane. So a couple of them came up with the idea to do big format colouring-in pages so that all the siblings could sit down and colour together,” she said.
Ms Brown said the colouring-in sheets have proven popular not only with Gold Coast families, but ones right across the country.
“The response has been crazy,” she said.
Check out the designs in the video below:
The colouring sheets come in two sizes – 1 and 1.5 metres long – and are printed on luxuriously thick paper that is suitable for felt-tips, crayons, paint and pencils.
There is an Australia and a Gold Coast version, and they cost between $20-30 and include delivery.
