WATCH: Kids to takeover HOTA this September school holidays

Kids are taking over HOTA, Home of the Arts these September school holidays, with a playful program on offer for children and parents alike from September 28 to October 1.

One of the highlight activities is Haircuts by Children, which will see kids take the reins of their very own salon and offer free haircuts.

A fully functional mobile salon will be set up in a container at HOTA and local children will participate in a series of training workshops with professional stylists before offering free haircuts to members of the public.

HOTA’s Arts Theatre will also host a Kids Comedy Hour, with a cracking line-up of renowned comedy talent, including the amazing purple puppet comedian, Randy Feltface, Madame Lark, Mickey D and Chores.

If your kids love art and destruction, they will love Boxwars where they will use nothing but cardboard to construct mega mysterious creations and costumes that culminate in the battle of battles.
