WATCH: LifeFlight Rescue crew winch woman off cruise ship
A young woman has been winched off a cruise ship by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crews after suffering a medical condition.
The 23-year-old was aboard the P&O Pacific Explorer on Monday when she needed medical assistance.
A LifeFlight Aircrewman and Queensland Ambulance Service Flight Paramedic came to the rescue, winching the woman to safety.
She was then airlifted to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
The ship was approximately 74 kilometres off the Fraser Coast when the woman had to be rescued.
