WATCH: Light plane lands on back wheels at Archerfield airport
There’s been a lucky escape for three people on board a light plane that was forced to make an emergency landing south of Brisbane.
The aircraft was left circling above Archerfield Airport on Thursday afternoon due to what’s believed to have been a malfunction with the plane’s front landing gear.
Footage from Channel Nine shows the light plane eventually touching down on its two back wheels with the nose of the plane angled towards the ground.
Emergency services were on the scene as those on board disembarked as the plane.
No-one appears to be injured.
