Police have released footage of a man placing a bucket bomb in the front yard of a Logan home in what detectives believe was a targeted attack.
A 52-year-old man suffered significant chest, abdominal and leg injuries when the improvised bomb exploded in the front yard of the home in Jacaranda Ave in Kingston last Thursday afternoon.
A 48-year-old female resident was uninjured.

It’s believed nails were contained in the bomb with the explosion sparking an emergency declaration in the suburb.
Investigations have revealed a man was seen placing the explosive device over the front fence and behind a vehicle at around 1.15am on Thursday morning.
CCTV footage shows the man wearing a hoodie and a face mask.
Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity around that time or who may have dashcam footage from the area to contact them.
Investigations are continuing.
