WATCH: Manhunt underway for alleged Surfers Paradise burglar

Police are on the hunt for a man in relation to a Surfers Paradise burglary, with detectives releasing CCTV in the hopes of tracking down the wanted man.

The footage shows the man illegally entering a garage along a Tarcoola Crescent property in the early hours of Friday June 24.

He then allegedly walked into the home and took multiple sets of keys and bank cards just after 6am.

The alleged burglar then fled the scene in a grey 2017 Audi Q5 with Queensland Registration 478 DI6.

Later that night, the man used the key card to make a number of fraudulent payments at a convenience store on Surfers Paradise Boulevard.

By the looks of the footage, he used the card to buy a choccy milk and a packet of cigarettes.

Police say he then unsuccessfully attempted to get into a nightclub along Orchid Avenue.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, is approximately 170cm tall, with a slim build and short brown hair.

Anyone who recognises the man, or has any information or dashcam vision or CCTV footage in the initial burglary is being urged to contact police, anonymous reports can be made.
