Every year the Gold Coast hosts more than 900 events which inject more than $200 million into the local economy.
The city is home to some of Australia’s most iconic events, including the Quiksilver Surfing Pro, ITU Triathlon, Gold Coast Marathon, Supercars Gold Coast 600, and the Australian PGA Golf Championships, to name a few.
However, it’s not just sporting events the Gold Coast is famous for, with the city playing host to an array of cultural events like the annual Blues on Broadbeach, Bleach* Festival, Swell Sculpture Festival and the Gold Coast Film Festival.
