Mayor Tom Tate helped launch the 90th Mudgeeraba Show today by riding a bullock bareback around the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds.
Mr Tate, who is an adept horseman, couldn’t resist testing his skills on a bullock much to the amusement of attendees at the show’s launch event.
After safely dismounting the bullock, Mr Tate told myGC Gold Coasters can expect the event on June 23rd and 24th to be bigger and better than ever before.

“There is going to be so many things to do and see. It’s all day and all night entertainment on Saturday, and then all day again on Sunday with the youth muster in the afternoon,” she said.
Division 9 Councillor Glenn Tozer told myGC he was most looking forward to the live entertainment offering.
“Adam Brand is playing on the Saturday night. He has just won a country music award so it’s really exciting to have him perform at the Mudgeeraba Show – it’s going to be great!”
