This Saturday, Gold Coast Open House will unlock the doors of 31 interesting and significant buildings and spaces, inviting Gold Coasters to take behind-the-scenes tours of places they may have only ever glimpsed at from the street.
Gold Coasters will be able to see what lies behind the closed doors at a number of iconic establishments including the Q1, Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast University Hospital, The Eco Village at Currumbin and The Southport School.
1029 Hot Tomato will also be throwing open the doors between 10am and 3pm and giving locals a chance to see what the station is like beyond reception. There will be guided back-of-house tours, where visitors can see first-hand the presenters in their studio delivering music and news live to air.
