WATCH: Pair arrested after wild chase across Gold Coast and Logan

Police have released dramatic vision of officers pursuing a stolen Porsche across the streets of the Gold Coast and Logan overnight.

The car, which was stolen from a home in Graceville on Monday, was spotted by officers on the Gold Coast last night.

Police attempted to intercept the luxury car, however the driver allegedly evaded police by speeding off north on the Pacific Motorway.

The vehicle was then observed in Beenleigh a short time later, where officers successfully deployed a tyre deflation device before the car continued to travel north on the M1.

Around 9.00pm, officers activated their lights and sirens to intercept the stolen Porsche and a short pursuit commenced on the Logan Motorway before it came to a stop on Loganlea Road.

In vision released by Qld Police, the driver and passenger can both be seen running from the damaged car before being tracked down with the help of the police chopper.

A 20-year-old Redbank man has since been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and obstruct police.

He appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court this morning and was refused bail to reappear on May 28.

A 20-year-old Deception Bay man has also been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, burglary, stealing, receiving tainted property and an evasion offence.

He is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
