WATCH: Paralysed dad uses robot to walk daughter down the aisle

Where there’s a will there’s a way…

A father and daughter in the UK have managed to fulfil their dream of walking down the aisle together, with help from incredible technology.

Dad, Chris Palmer, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer almost four years ago, leaving him paralysed and with the horrible belief he would never get to share in that special moment.

But his daughter Heather came across an article about a company called Rex Bionics which has invented an exo-skeletal suit that enables paralysed people to walk and stand without assistance.

She contacted the company and they were more than happy to have Mr Palmer ‘try out’ the amazing equipment for her wedding day.

So, on Saturday the pair got to realise their dream as Mr Palmer slowly walked Heather down the aisle to her fiancé Christopher Halls.

Needless to say, there was not a dry eye in the house as wedding guests got to share in their miracle moment.
