WATCH: Paris football fans sing anthem as residents open homes for safety

AN EMOTIONAL video has emerged of football fans showing solidarity and patriotism amid the terror attacks in France.

While being evacuated from the Stade de France in Paris, they began singing the national anthem.

Many would not have known what would greet them as they stepped out into the night.

An explosion at a nearby bar forced the evacuation of the stadium, which was hosting a friendly match between France and Germany, killing three people.

While a shooting at a restaurant saw more than a dozen killed and more injured.

Several bombings across the city also claimed lives. While as many as 80 have been killed after terrorists took concert-goers hostage at a local hall.

Paris residents are opening their homes to those needing shelter or feeling frightened and wanting comfort and safety.
