Eagled-eyed police officers have uncovered almost half a million dollars worth of cash hidden throughout a home on the Gold Coast.
Local detectives raided the home on Enderley Avenue in Surfers Paradise around 9am on Tuesday when they discovered the $458,000 cash haul concealed in “numerous locations”.
During the search, officers also allegedly found a quantity of drugs including methylamphetamine, GBL and Buprenorphine, as well as numerous stolen identification and licence cards.

A 44-year-old Mudgeeraba man was taken into custody and later charged with a string of offences including two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
He was also charged with one count each of trafficking dangerous drugs, possessing relevant substances, possessing anything used in the commission of crime and receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking.
The man was also hit with one count of possess property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of comminating a drug offence and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.
He was denied bail to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today.
