Police are on the hunt for a driver who allegedly took off after hitting an 8-year-old boy at an intersection on the Gold Coast yesterday.
Around 8.15am, the youngster was crossing Benowa Road near Slayter Avenue when he was hit by an orange hatchback.
Police said the car failed to remain at the scene and continued travelling north, which was “very concerning”.
